Registration Page for the R-PAS Online Scoring Program, Training Resources, and Clinical Products

Access to the scoring program, training resources, and products that aid administration and coding is limited to individuals who are appropriately trained in psychological assessment and meet the applicable requirements of their state, province, or country. Once we are able to check and approve credentials the new user will be sent a confirmation email that indicates the account is activated and that the user now has the ability to login and purchase protocol allocations for scoring, as well as the other items listed on our Products page that aid clinical practice. Users also gain access to many free resources, including videos on administration and coding, checklists to master administration, electronic templates for recording an administration, and printable or electronic templates for coding a record.

There are four primary types of accounts, as described below. All accounts allow users to enter codes for each response using two possible interfaces (the Tables or Point-and-Click interface). Users can have multiple types of accounts and can also transfer or share protocols across accounts. Selecting a type of account below will open a new page that allows you to provide relevant information about your credentials.

1) Standard Clinical Account: This provides the full display of all results (i.e., the Counts & Calculations page, the Page 1 and Page 2 Profiles, the EII-3 and Composite Calculations, and the Appendix information), the ability to print or store all pages of results, and the ability to download a data file containing all response-level codes or all protocol scores accompanied by normative data. The cost is USD $8.50 per protocol (but $11.75 per protocol if purchasing 5 or fewer). After users submit appropriate credentials, account approval typically occurs within two business days.

2) Approved Teaching Account: This account is designed for university-based training. It provides the full display of all results (i.e., the Counts & Calculations page, the Page 1 and Page 2 Profiles, the EII-3 and Composite Calculations, and the Appendix information), the ability to print or store all pages of results, and the ability to download response level data (e.g., to check coding accuracy for student assignments), but it does not provide the ability to download a data file containing the protocol level scores that would be used in research. A teaching account also provides the instructor with access to a large number of downloadable teaching resources (e.g., over 1,000 PowerPoint slides, a packet of materials to teach the basics of administration, and cases for coding practice). The cost is USD $5.10 per protocol, which is a 40% training discount, though there is a minimum purchase of 10 protocols. After teachers submit a training grant request and credentials, account approval typically occurs within five business days.

Note: Users who provide structured, supervised training to students in a clinical setting that is outside of the university context can request a Clinical Training Account. This is a Standard Clinical Account that also provides access to our teaching resources. If you provide structured assessment training in a clinical site and wish to have a Clinical Training Account, apply for a Standard Clinical Account and then please send us documentation about your structured training using the link on our home page.

3) Approved Research Account - Basic: This account has no "Results" link and so provides no visual display of the Counts & Calculations page, the Page 1 and Page 2 Profiles, or the Appendix information, all of which would be used in clinical practice and teaching but are not needed for a research project. However, this account provides users with the ability to score records and download data in a comma, tab, or semi-colon separated file that can be easily imported into another database program (e.g., Excel, SPSS). The user can download response level coding or all the protocol level scores found on the Counts & Calculations page. However, this account does not generate or download the normative percentiles and standard scores; if they are desired one has to select the next option. This account is free. Users may be asked to allow R-PAS to use their stored data for system development research. After researchers submit a research grant request and supporting credentials, account approval typically occurs in less than two weeks.

4) Approved Research Account - Advanced: This account has no "Results" link and so provides no visual display of output. It allows the user to download a data file containing all response level codes and all protocol level scores, including normative percentiles and standard scores for every variable. The cost is USD $0.85 per protocol, which is a 90% discount off the regular price, with a minimum expected sample size of 30 protocols. Users may be asked to allow R-PAS to use their stored data for system development research. After researchers submit a research grant request and supporting credentials, account approval typically occurs in less than two weeks.
